Home of the Carthage Red Men and Lady
Reds, the Koenitzer Aquatic Center is a modern competition facility
open for student, faculty, staff and public use. The facility
offers swimming lessons, a master's team, water aerobics, open and lap
swim.
The facility is also one of the premiere competition facilities in the Midwest. A 25 x 40 yard tank provides for ten lanes of competition and an additional six lanes for warm-up/warm-down. Since opening in 2001, the facility has hosted:
- 2003, 2004, 2005 Wisconsin Senior State Championships
- 2004 Illinois State JO's
- 2003, 2004, 2005 Wisconsin Master's Swimming Championships
- 2006 Illinois YMCA State Championships
- Dozens of additional club, college and high school meets
